    I listened to a video where it was stated that the UPDATES made to computer systems because of Y2K enabled computers to ‘run the world’.

    I do not have the name of the man quoted, he supposedly worked on the debugging and he said: I can run the world with four men.

    Do you have any info on who said this and if it is true?

    Debra I have not heard this man speak before exactly, but if you find the video I will watch it and respond accordingly.

    But from my opinion, computers do run the world. Hollywood made a movie on it called ‘Eagle Eye’:

    Also a report from McAfee on April 20th from their Corporate blog shows that “critical US infrastructure” is not ready for a cyber attack, where a hacker could in-theory, shut down power, water supplies ect. I consider that control: http://blogs.mcafee.com/corporate/cto/critical-infrastructure-not-ready-for-cyberattacks

    I also believe that it’s a natural evolutionv(maybe not so “natural” actually) for us humans to become more technologically interconnected. At the same time I prefer to grow my own food in my back yard and boil/filter my drinking water.
